Health & Stamina

As you wander around each of the level maps your stamina will slowly begin to fall. This is shown on the screen display as a % figure next to the blue potion icon.

If you stamina reached zero you can still move around, but your health will slowly reduce with each move due to exhaustion. If you find and drink blue potions you can increase your stamina level.

Your health rating is shown as a % figure next to the red potion. You can regain health by drinking red potions you find, or by eating or drinking various foods.

Battle Mode 

When you move next to, or onto the same tile as one of the monsters you will enter battle mode. Battles are fought on a turn based system, with you and the monster taking turns at attacking and / or defending. The amount of damage you inflict or take depends on the type and condition of the weapon and armour you have equiped at the time.

Sometimes your equipment may break during the fight if its in poor condition. So keep a close eye on things during the fight, as you may end up punching the monsters if your weapon breaks!

Inventory

Any items you find can be placed into your inventory. You can place items into the backpack for use later, or eat and drink food and potions straight away.

Weapons and armour each have their own slots where you can place items to be used. Items can be swapped in and out of the backpack and inventory as and when they are needed, i.e. to replace damaged or broken items.
